Picture and swatch colour reliability:The colour displayed in your computer depends on various features and on the colour setting of your computer. The result is sometimes not reliable and, for example a green fabric can look like a grey fabric. To avoid errors when appreciating our swatch thumb nails, we try to provide a colour description that indicates an understandable colour name (blue, navy blue, yellow, lemon, red, aubergine…). For most of the samples provided in our swatch pages we have also indicated an equivalent reference that you will be able to check if you have the related reference book or sample swatches. You will find this reference displayed with the popup image that appears when you put your computer’s mouse on any swatch thumb nail. - For upholstery materials such as fabrics, leathers or vinyl we use the Pantone references book, - For wooden stains provided by the furniture manufacturers we use well known surface specialist manufacturers as Formica or Oberflex, - For powder coated colours, we use the RAL references book. We try to select the closest colour when comparing the original finishes with those standard references but we cannot guarantee an exact similarity. This is why this information is not contractual. Not provided yet. Product and Upholstery features:The finishes and dimensions proposed for our products on our website include all the options that our manufactures produce in standard. Nevertheless, for large quantities or easy modifications, it is often possible to offer bespoke products. Please email us your requirements; we will try to satisfy your requirements. Note that most of the product modifications will affect the product price and the delivery time mentioned in our pages. The fabric area required to upholster a product is indicated by default in 1.40 metres width in our WebPages. If you customer own fabric has a different roll width, please contact us prior buying or sending the roll. Indeed, will need to check if the fabric width is suitable for your product and we need to recalculate the fabric area required. Before providing us with your own material, we advise you to contact us to let us check with our manufacture that your material fits correctly a product. Prices:Vergy aims to provide a large range of high quality furniture at the right price. We permanently search for attractive products that match our aim and step away from products that have expensive distribution channels. We also positioned our price on purpose for long terms and we believe that contract furniture should be affordable for every professional. Our upholstered items also have very attractive prices because we calculate their materials at a wholesale cost for you. This reduces the price dramatically for items that have a large amount of fabric. We are glad to provide you with product prices that have upholstery materials discounted at 40 to 60 % compared to most furniture importers and high street stores. As a professional, you can potentially obtain the fabrics at trade price from a large number of the upholstery material suppliers. At Vergy we want you to enjoy buying furniture and remove any related hassle. This is why we believe that offering all fabrics at a price close to your buying cost (that includes upholstery cost, transports cost and administration order process cost) means you will not hesitate ordering you furniture including the required fabric, and allow us to manage everything for you. At the beginning of each month we update the price of the products that are related to different currencies than the British Pounds. This currency adjustment relates to most of our products. It provides you with the right price at any time and avoids you paying for a currency variation projection. Note that we also change our prices accordingly in line with manufacturing modification of prices that usually happens once a year in summer time. Last year, most of the prices stayed unchanged. The Euro prices provided in our estimate pages via the Euro pop up converter are provided by the Quanda day-to-day converter. The euro prices provided in all the other pages are related to an exchange rate that we update at the beginning of each month. It should be really close to the day-to-day conversion rate. Note that the Euro prices displayed in our pages shall be those in force on the date the order is placed. Discounts and Minimum Quantities:Our prices are already trade prices and we are already extremely competitive with them (please compare our prices). However, for bulk quantities or very regular orders, special deals are possible. Yes, the orders are processed only when a sufficient quantity per item is required. Indeed, we may have to refuse orders that include too small product quantities because their cost to import from abroad or their delivery cost can easily exceed their product price. We will take advantage of your delivery cost request facility provided in our ordering process to let you know if your order reaches the minimum quantity required. Samples:We are glad to give you the possibility to have delivered directly to your door various kinds of furniture finishes, fabric cuttings, and when available, entire pieces of furniture. For furniture samples, Vergy Materials and standard manufacturer’s finishes, please contact us. Otherwise, for swatch cards, large fabric cuttings from Other Manufacturer Materials and also for Veneered or wood effect laminate swatch cards (to copy the wood stain from), please contact the manufacturers or agents directly. You will find the agents details on most of the swatch pages when customising your product. Depending on the time of your request, most of these organisations will send the material with a one day delivery service. NB. You will find the distinction between Vergy Materials and Other manufacturer Materials explained in the Material page provided in the main banner menu. Shipping and Delivery:The cost to transport our furniture to your site (delivery option 1) as well as the cost to set your furniture on site (delivery option 2) are not included in our prices and need to be added by us to your estimate page prior to ordering. Shipping cost calculation: - For destinations other than the UK the shipping cost will be calculated from the manufacturer site or from the most appropriate geographical shipping platform in Europe. The platform can be located in countries other than the countries where the products are sourced. - For UK delivery, orders including medium and large quantities have shipping cost calculated from our London carrier warehouse address. Indeed, the cost to bring the goods to UK is included in the product price. If accepted, small quantities orders have shipping cost calculated from our manufactures sites. This may rise the cost of the order dramatically. Please note that for UK orders that do not require product grouping or setting of furniture on site, the products may be shipped from our manufacturers in Europe for direct delivery to you. In this case, for large and medium quantity orders, we will share the cost with you to deliver your furniture to you. Transport cost factors: The transport cost depends on the distance to reach the furniture destination (delivery address), the order volume, the weight, the number of boxes to deliver and also whether the vehicle belongs to our partners to set the furniture on site. On site delivery cost: The delivery cost depends on the services required by the customer, the difficulties to install the products as well as on the distance to reach the furniture destination on site. Option 1: Delivery to your door: The customer (or the customer’s staff) is required to help the carrier driver to unload the truck and is in charge of the parcels once off the vehicle as well as the setting of the furniture on site. For this option, we employ a standard freight service and the goods travel at the customer’s own risk. It is the option that is the most cost effective and that often offers the quickest delivery time (the option 1 is available for most of the worldwide destinations). Option 2: Delivery and setting of furniture on site: The customer has only to be present for the delivery to explain where and how to set the furniture on site. The service provided includes: - Unloading the truck, - Carrying the boxes into the destination building, - Unpacking the furniture, - Assembling the furniture together if required, - Organising the furniture on site as requested by the customer, - Taking the furniture boxes and packing accessories back. For this option, we employ a company that has dedicated staff to do the transport, delivery and setting of the goods on site. This service takes a few days more to arrange and the delivery times are normally slightly longer than the delivery time mentioned in our product pages (the option 2 is usually only offered for UK and French destinations). Please note that in some cases, we may send our dedicated staff on site to manage the setting of the furniture after the goods have been delivered by a standard freight service. Once your furniture is manufactured and ready for dispatch to your address we or our logistic service will call you to define the suitable delivery date with you. Delivery to your door will occur between 8 am and 6 pm. When possible, we will do our best to arrange the delivery in half a day. For delivery that includes the setting of the furniture on site, you will be asked to provide us with a window of hours for us to come. The delivery time required to unload the vehicle and set your furniture on site will depend on the site configuration, the order volume and the work required assembling the products. We can deliver orders worldwide. However, for countries that have specific taxes calculations as for American States, we may require your assistance or the assistance of agents to follow the local rules. This is not a usual way to proceed for us but this option is possible. This solution may interest customers located nearby our grouping platforms or customers who want to use their own vehicles. Goods transit mainly by our dispatching platform in greater London but may be available where else. Exact address and collection note will be provided by us if the customer requires this option. Please note that our carriers are not normally required to allow customers access to the merchandise. Therefore you may have to wait a while in the freight warehouse to have your goods at your disposal. You may also have to handle the goods to your vehicle yourself. Orders:If you prefer to send us your own order form, this is not a problem. We also take orders off line. To facilitate copying your product details provided in your estimate, you can select and copy all the information into a word document or onto your order form. However, if you want to check your order status easily, we suggest placing your order using our online ordering process. If you do so, please display clearly ‘CONFIRMATION OF ONLINE ORDER’ at the top of your printed order and ensure that the details (product quantity and description – delivery and invoice addresses…) are exactly the same as the order placed in our system. Any information that is different may be source of error and may postpone the order process. If you placed your order online you can check its state by selecting ‘my estimates’ in the main banner menu. You will find your order state at the top of your order page. Payment:You can pay by electronic transfer or by cheque. Confidentiality:We will use information we receive from customers to communicate with them, but otherwise, we will keep the information confidential and not disclose it to third parties unless requires by you or required by law. |
